GRAND RAPIDS, MI – One of the state’s biggest marijuana retailers opened a new location in Grand Rapids.
Lume Cannabis Co., a marijuana company with locations throughout Michigan, opened its Grand Rapids store for adult-use sales last week.
The company offers more than 20 strains of cannabis flower which are all grown in Evart. Lume also sells other cannabis products such as Lume Gummies, Lume Cartridges, Lume-branded CBD-infused tinctures, balms, body butters and more.
“At Lume, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality product as well as a convenient and comfortable customer experience,” said Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume. “We’re excited to bring to Grand Rapids and nearby communities our safe and high-quality THC and CBD products that are grown without harmful chemicals and undergo rigorous testing.”

The opening of a new location came just days after Lume announced the abrupt closure of four of its stores. The stores, which all closed July 11, include Bay City, Christmas, Cheboygan and Southfield.
The closures would allow Lume to be better aligned for future growth, the company said in a statement.
The Grand Rapids store, located at 4162 Eastern Avenue SE, will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
