A stop was conducted on Highway 77 near Rosa Parks Way. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says THC vape cartridges were seen in plain sight inside the vehicle. A narcotics K9 was called in and made a “hit”.
Sheriff Wagner says that search turned up 481 pounds of marijuana in boxes with the lid screwed shut and 4,272 THC vape cartridges.
47 year old Christopher Klipfel from Grants Pass, Oregon was booked for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, possession of currency while violating a drug law, and evading a drug tax stamp.
Sheriff Wagner says the marijuana is valued between $600 and $4,500 a pound depending on the quality. The THC vape cartridges typically sell for $15 to $20 each.
