Chengdu Reports “12+8” New Indigenous Cases on July 26

Report on the Latest Local Outbreak

From 0:00 to 24:00 of July 26, there were 12 new indigenous confirmed cases (including eight previously reported asymptomatic cases turning to confirmed cases) and eight new indigenous asymptomatic cases in Chengdu. As of 24:00 on July 26, Chengdu has reported a total of 127 indigenous confirmed cases and 45 indigenous asymptomatic cases since July 15.

The “0715” outbreak reported zero new indigenous case. As of 24:00 on July 26, Chengdu reported a total of 61 indigenous confirmed cases and 15 indigenous asymptomatic cases of the “0715” outbreak.

The “0720 ” outbreak reported 12 new indigenous confirmed cases (including eight previously reported asymptomatic cases turning to confirmed cases) and eight new indigenous asymptomatic cases. As of 24:00 on July 26, Chengdu reported a total of 66 indigenous confirmed cases and 30 indigenous asymptomatic cases of the “0720” outbreak.

On July 27, the following previous high-risk areas are downgraded to medium-risk areas:
